Everyone's situation is different. Whether you're a family member searching for answers or a professional looking to refer, we'll show you exactly where to start.

For Families & Carers

Finding the right support for someone you love can feel overwhelming. We're here to help, explaining what positive behaviour support is, whether it's right for your family member, how it's funded through the NDIS, and what to expect when you reach out to our caring team.

Why choose Target Behaviour Services?

We don’t just manage behaviour. We change lives. Here’s what makes us different from every other provider in Perth.

We're specialists

Positive behaviour support is all we do, not one service among many. It means everyone you deal with lives and breathes PBS.

All ages, all complexity

From early childhood to older adulthood, including the high-complexity situations many providers won’t take on, so you’re far less likely to be turned away.

Clinicians who genuinely care

We bring clinical rigour and real warmth together, treating every person as an individual with their own story, never a case number on a list.

Award-winning & audit-perfect

Three consecutive APAC Insider awards and zero non-conformities across every NDIS audit – quality you can actually verify, not just take on faith.

24-hour response, no waitlist

Every referral gets a response within 24 business hours, with no waitlist; because when someone needs support, waiting isn’t good enough.

They have a fantastic understanding of the situation and how best to handle it. Nothing feels rushed or generic, and the strategies actually suit the person and what’s going on for them.

How it works

Getting started is simpler than you might think. Here’s what happens from the moment you reach out.

  1. Get in touch

Share a few details about the situation. Whether you’re a family member, carer, or Support Coordinator, this is where it begins.

  2. We review what you've shared

Our team reviews the background, current concerns, and NDIS plan to work out the best starting point, whether that’s an initial behaviour support plan, a full functional behaviour assessment, or another service.

  3. We find the right clinician

We match each person with a practitioner suited to their needs, background, preferences, and complexity level, not with just whoever is next available.

  4. You’ll hear from us within 24 hours

We respond to every referral within 24 business hours, with a service agreement to follow.

  5. Support begins

We start the assessment and support process, and keep you and your Support Coordinator informed at every stage.

We work with participants who have an active NDIS plan. Not sure whether funding is available for behaviour support? Get in touch, and we’ll help you understand your options.

Trusted by families and professionals

When people need clarity around behaviours of concern, they want a provider who can assess the situation carefully, explain things clearly, and recommend the right next step. That's where we come in.

We had the best services from Faith and Rex from Target Behaviour Services. They were reachable when we needed them and they gave us clear working behaviour strategies on how our team could be efficient. Their reports were timeous and above all they have been consistent. I recommend their services anytime.

They always go above and beyond for their participants and bring a genuine, person centred approach to every single situation. They collaborate so professionally. Communication is clear, timely, and focused on achieving the best outcomes - every time.

We have had the pleasure of working with Faith across several shared clients, and her professionalism, clinical insight, and consistency have been outstanding. She communicates clearly, works collaboratively with support teams, and always keeps the participants' needs at the centre of her practice.

Akshay D

From the very start, the support has been outstanding, and our whole family is genuinely happy with how things are going. We really appreciate the dedication and the clear communication, and the difference it's made in such a short time has been remarkable. It's reassuring to finally feel this well looked after.

Rebecca T

We've achieved more in just a few months than we managed with our previous providers in years. The commitment and care really stand out, and it's been wonderful to watch the progress and the trust that's been built with our family. They genuinely go above and beyond, and we're so grateful for it.

They're always quick to respond when we reach out, and so understanding and supportive with it. They keep the person at the centre of everything and stay flexible whenever our needs change. Having someone this easy to work with has made a real difference.

Frequently asked questions

We know navigating behaviour support can raise a lot of questions. Here are the ones we hear most often.

Do I need an active NDIS plan to access your services?

Yes. Our services are for NDIS participants, so you or your family member / client will need an active NDIS plan. If the current plan doesn’t include behaviour support funding, please get in touch. We can explain your options and, where appropriate, provide a Letter of Recommendation to support a plan review.

What is the difference between an enquiry and a referral?

An enquiry is an initial conversation – a chance for families, carers, or Support Coordinators to ask questions and check we’re the right fit before committing to anything. A referral is the formal request to begin support, usually made with the participant’s NDIS plan details.

How long does it take to hear back?

We respond to every enquiry and referral within 24 hours on business days. Once a referral is received and accepted, we issue a service agreement within 24 hours and begin matching the participant with the right clinician.

Do you have a waitlist?

No. We don’t operate a waitlist, because when someone needs support, waiting isn’t good enough. Referrals are responded to within 24 hours, with a service agreement to follow, so support can begin without delay.

Who can make a referral?

Anyone involved in the participant’s support can get in touch, including families and carers, Support Coordinators, GPs, allied health professionals, and guardians. Whether you’re making a formal referral or just starting with a question, we’ll guide you through what happens next.

Change starts with a conversation.

Whether you're looking for answers, trying to understand behaviour more clearly, or ready to take the next step, our team is here. We don't just manage behaviour. We change lives.
